This idea is one that the overall plot/concept will stay the same but will feel different depending on the character used.
She could be a new character completely, which is what I will probably end up doing, but she could also be a character I’ve already created in the past and putting her in this idea will give her more substance in The Merc Series Universe.
These pics are also giving ‘Megan Vibes’, one of my main characters in The Merc Series and that would be an interesting angle to write and I kind of want to write that version of the story just to see how it would come out.
Irregardless of what character I end up using, the idea is that she’s just a nerdy, harmless looking tourist girl on vacation. She’s at a resort somewhere in South America or Caribbean islands but not in USA.
The resort is really quiet, if not empty. The staff is there but some event has chased off all the customers, and she shows up acting clueless to whatever event is happening. Probably a war between the government and rebels or something along those lines.
The staff is happy to help her as she tips well but are confused by her behavior/naiveness of everything around her. This would be the first 20% of the story and setting everything up.
Of course, this is all an act by her and she’s secretly a merc or CIA type spook who’s there to investigate the rebel group or whatever the event that happened in country.
I’d write this in a way that it’s obvious something doesn’t add up with her but the reveal of who she really is will still make sense and fit seamlessly into The Merc Series Universe continuity.
