This is a character idea more than a story idea per say, but I’m sure I could make a short story out of it too.
I might actually have a minor character already created too that could be fleshed out more using this idea.
The idea itself is a young upcoming hot blonde DJ who’s gaining popularity and has become the go to person for people to hire for their parties hoping to gain clout on social media.
Now that I think of it, that could actually be a story there.
At first, I thought she could be a DJ for Alizarin (my main club in TMS universe) and it would be about how she came to work for the club. But if I go in a different direction and keep her as an independent DJ for hire, that would free her up for other possibilities.
Like, she could be hired for a rich kid/trust fund baby party, and something goes wrong while she’s there. Maybe a murder or a police raid. Maybe the family is secretly dirty.
She could have been a witness to something and now has to go into hiding or needs protection from either a bad guy or maybe the police if they think she’s involved.
This could be a good place to introduce any bodyguard characters I have but haven’t used yet too and give them a story to take part in.
I think that would make for a better story or maybe that’s how she ended up working for Alizarin in the first place and this is her origin story of how she had to give up being an independent DJ.
As long as she works for Alizarin, she’s under their protection, which is why she’s been there so long. Plus, they pay really well.
I think that could work out really well.
