This Creativity Post has a similar vibe to CP 53 but instead of two guys finding a problem, it’s two women.
I feel like I could tie them together if I wanted to, but I think keeping them as two separate ideas would work better. I could pair these two ladies with another idea too and that would help it stand apart better or vice versa with the guys.
As with CP 53, there’s any number of ways to go with this depending on the nature of the problem. I see this story being more of a novella length type project to give it more room to breathe.
It starts with them finding out a problem at their work late at night when they should have already been done for the day. The more the brunette pulled at the problem, the more unraveled it became, leaving her and the blonde both freaked out as they attempted to fix it.
What ‘it’ is I’m not sure yet but it would be a big piece of figuring out how I write this story.
I like the idea of this story having at least 4 parts to it. The first part is they find the problem together. The second part is the brunette has to start making calls and trying to figure things out on her own (pic 2) while the blonde (pic 3) has to travel alone to one of their other offices and try to fix things on that end.
The fourth part would be them reuniting and comparing notes, actions they’ve each taken, done etc.
Each part would shift to their POV and more of their personalities and life would be revealed during it as well.
I don’t see this having an action vibe to it but more of a thriller, cat and mouse vibe as they may have to avoid a dangerous opponent who wants to stop them from undoing whatever he (or she) did.
Overall, I think I’ll be able to make this idea stand apart from the idea in CP 53 to the point where they feel like two completely different stories. It’ll be a fun writing challenge to try.
