This idea is a little different from my normal CPs. Not necessarily the idea per say but how I would write it. It would be more humorous and upbeat than my usual style, (at least at first) but not full-on comedy.
It would also change depending on what job/profession I go with for these characters.
The 1st pic is them meeting each other in a subway. They met on the stairs coming down and both were in good moods that day and just started talking to each other while they waited for the train. There was no flirting or hitting on the other just normal banter but there was definitely chemistry/instant attraction.
The 2nd pic is days/weeks later but not too far removed from their first encounter and they both find it funny how they run into each other again. They end up having lunch together on a whim.
Now the humor comes in that each thinks the other is up to something and playing a con/running an angle when in reality they both ran into each other completely by change. Neither knew the other even existed and might never had met/talked to the other if they both hadn’t been in good moods that day they first met.
It’s all just a coincidence.
I don’t see either of them being assassins or mercs but rather agents of some sort. Maybe she’s a CIA analyst or something along those lines and he’s DEA or FBI. Jobs that require both to stay fit and trained but not elite level operators. But still better than the average cop/agent.
Once that’s figured out, the story would shift to them slowly dating while trying to figure out how to have a relationship as neither of them have ever had someone in their lives while they’ve been building up their careers. It’s all new territory for them.
Then something inevitably bad happens that would shift the tone of the story to something more serious. What that is I don’t know yet, but there’s still plenty of material to work with here.
