This one is a little out there but it’s definitely a different take on an idea, which means it could work.
So, lets start with the basic idea/typical idea, which there’s nothing wrong with and will work for a lot of stories, but for this pic I’m trying something different.
She’s in a European city, thinking Paris, but maybe somewhere in Spain. She spent the night in a fancy hotel and her boyfriend has work to do and he left already.
Her boyfriend is secretly an assassin and travels a lot. Sometimes she travels with him on ‘business trips’ but doesn’t know what he really does.
That’s our ‘normal’ idea, now here’s how I’m going to spin it.
The guy is an assassin and so is she. But we’ve already done assassin couples, so in this case we have a father daughter assassin team.
Sometimes they pose as a couple though. He’s the older man with the younger girl. Sometimes she sleeps with one of his shirts on. They’re weird but not Game of Thrones weird, kay.
Maybe they’re European so they only operate in Europe. Maybe French? Maybe they have a grudge against Isabella Racine for some reason? Maybe it’s against her father-in-law for something he did in the past or on a mission.
No one knows she’s his daughter though or that she’s as highly skilled/trained as she is. And she keeps it that way, playing the part of the naïve girlfriend.
I think anyone that’s seen her fight (or operate) is killed quickly after, ensuring her abilities stay secret.
Not sure where else this duo may show up yet, but I like the European assassin angle. Helps build up a set of characters to use in that area of the world and they can get called upon as needed for a story.
