The Racines have gotten a lot of attention in the Creativity Posts and this is another one for them.
A quick recap, Isabella Racine is a French mercenary leader who is known to have a less than favorable opinion on men. She hires the best and most attractive women mercenaries in the world. She puts them in positions of leadership throughout her organization.
Only a handful of men are entrusted with leadership/command responsibilities such as her husband and father-in-law to name two.
This photo got me thinking about that. She’s in command of this squad and seems a little smug about it.
But what if she really shouldn’t be?
What if she can’t actually handle the pressure?
Like she’s been in other mission before and did fine but she’s never had a ‘oh shit this is bad’, problem with a mission.
Maybe she’s an up and coming star and is being groomed by someone (not Isabella) but another female commander (maybe girlfriend, maybe not).
And for whatever reason (TBD) she gets what should have been another easy job but something went bad quickly and everyone is looking to her and she can’t take the heat and snaps.
Mistakes happen, guys are killed, etc etc.
I’m thinking one of Isabella’s female commando units saves them.
The theme isn’t a woman can’t handle the pressure so a man has to step up to save the day, but rather how favoritism and lack of training can royally screw you over.
This will still need some more work and tweaking but that’s the basic idea.
