This CP is a little different from my normal ones in that I don’t see it being its own separate story with new characters, though I’m sure I could make a version of that work too.
Instead, I see myself using this CP more as an idea for a scene within a larger story. The scene would feature Carol, (as the blonde) one of my main characters in The Merc Series. She would be teaching a self-defense class on knives for other women at the dojo.
I think it would be a night class which doesn’t usually happen at the dojo and would make this scene stand out more. I’d set this scene up more too, not start right in it.
Maybe Carol didn’t want to host this or now she’s second guessing doing it now. She’s not anxious or nervous about it but rather annoyed, inconvenienced by it now that it’s the day of it.
Maybe the guy (knife welder) coming to help with the class is someone she knows already from the dojo through the guys or maybe it’s their first meeting before the class didn’t go great.
Whatever it is there’s more going on here than just the knife self-defense class and there would be a follow up scene or two as well to this.
I do like this idea because it helps show more of the dojo classes/lessons side of things that Carol does while Nick and the rest of the team are doing jobs/missions.
I could flesh out this idea by having some of the class members being characters that have been in other stories too.
I like that idea better than just a class of generic, unknown women.
It could be a good way to introduce a couple of new characters too, mixed in with already established ones.
That’s probably the route I’d go with for this.
