This one is my wild and random idea of this year’s Creativity Posts. How can I come up with an idea using these two pics? Like last year’s chocolate cake pic. (CP#59) While I could see the potential in doing something humorous with it, my thoughts went somewhere more serious.
This chick is crazy.
But not in the haha like, so like, anyway like, kay, like right.
She’s actually damaged goods. There’s no, “I can fix her bro’ thing going on.
I’d have her be the daughter of a wealthy couple. She grew up in the good life with plenty of perks and advantages. Her family could be important too, as a way to tie them into The Merc Series Universe better.
There’d be a good reason for her psychotic break. It wouldn’t just be a random thing. Something happened to her that triggered it, which would be hinted at instead of fully shown. But I could change my mind on that.
The story would be her in her fancy apartment surprised by her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.
From the story’s perspective, her boyfriend would appear to be a real person, and everything is normal and the end would be a ‘Black Mirror’ type twist with him being the mannequin the whole time and her parents watching her from behind the glass to see their daughter’s ‘improvements’.
Depending on what tone/vibe I want to go with this story, I could do a version that’s more sentimental/sad. Feeling bad for her and her parents as she’s struggling to deal with some kind of trauma that was no fault of her own.
Or I could go more of a villain story where she snapped and killed a bunch of innocent people and instead of those family’s getting justice, this chick’s parents used their wealth to protect her and get to put her in a special patient center for treatment while the families of the dead members get nothing.
I could see both versions working out well too.
