This idea came almost at once when I saw the two pics together.
She’s on the run having escaped from her kidnappers.
I see her as being a celebrity or a singer of importance. Not a model and not like a niche influencer only on social media. She’s a recognizable person. Maybe she just had a hit summer movie that ended up being a blockbuster.
She gets grabbed for a big ransom demand. The guys that grabbed her are a competent criminal gang, ones who’ve done this sort of thing before. They’re not rookies/amateurs but they’re also not like the best group of criminals ever either. They’d be low mid-tier. But she was able to get away.
She has some actual survival/self-defense skills/training thanks to her father, who was a British Commando of some renown and her mother was America. There was a falling out between her parents and she ended up living/moving to America as a teenager with her mother.
But she never forgot what her father taught her even after she became famous. I feel like there could be more ideas/stories based on her parents and who they were depending on how this idea plays out but it could be an interesting corner of The Merc Series Universe to explore.
I think setting it in the UK/Britain could be interesting too instead of America which was what my first thought was but then all the open countryside in the picture made me think of England (IDK why it just popped in my mind) and I like that location/idea better, so we’ll see.
