For this one it took both pics together before I got an idea of what the story was going to be.
This one will probably need the most research to make sure it’s even plausible, so keep that in mind as I lay out my initial idea.
Should this turn into a story in the future there’s a good chance a lot of this may have to change. But hey that’s why we call these Creativity Posts brainstorming sessions, right. ?
So, the idea is as follows, a squad of Israel Defense Forces, (IDF) is on their way to a remote outpost along the border to update/refuel/replace the supplies there.
The place isn’t anything special and hasn’t had any problems before so the job is considered a simply assignment but it’s also remote and boring and while not a punishment per say, it’s not the best assignment either.
The squad that gets sent there is a bunch of misfits. Mostly women, if not all women. They like to drink, goof off, post pics of themselves. Nothing super serious but it’s starting to get bad and their superiors are trying to nip it in the bud.
Maybe the girls are all from important families which is why it has to be handled delicately. Not sure, research will help to see if that’s plausible.
The problem is once they get to the outpost they quickly realize something is wrong and are in a very real fight with an enemy they weren’t expecting and help is a long ways away so they must do everything themselves.
Follow up questions will be, who’s the enemy? Why are they there? Can the women succeed or even survive the battle?
And what’s the aftermath look like either way?
