With this one I’m thinking we’re going to keep all of what we see, namely a Russian Spetsnaz team unloading gear.
I’m thinking there’s 4 to 6 of them and they’re being tasked with a long operation. This isn’t a snatch and grab, in and out kind of job. They’re here for a duration.
They’ve been tasked with taking hold of a stronghold or compound. The place they’re taking over isn’t heavily fortified yet, which makes it an ideal time to assault it.
They don’t want to attract too much attention though hence the small assault force.
And that’s the east part. Once they’ve secured the stronghold they have to fix it up, fortify it, and hold it against forces that will then come to claim it.
The stronghold must be important and was only left lightly guarded for a short period of time. Maybe it sits at a key location and once firmly secured can be the launching spot for further operations. A larger force will be on the way to help but these guys have to make do with what they have for now.
I think they’ll get to keep the chopper. At first, I was like the chopper flies away leaving them. And that’s that. But maybe it only flies away before the assault then comes back with more supplies once the place is secured. I like that idea better.
The big guy carrying the bags is the most well-known. Maybe he’s famous for some big battle/fight before all this.
The commander is the 2nd most well-known, with the rest of the team having no record yet.
Maybe this mission is what puts them on the map and makes them all-stars so to speak.
With some more work/fleshing out, maybe the big guy winds up in The Ledger in the future.
