What stood out for me in this pic was how well equipped these guys were. Granted with enough money they could buy whatever but they also look like they know how to use it.
Translation, these guys aren’t weekend warriors, which means we’ll assume they’re former military.
So, at this point we’ll assume they’re a legit militia group as opposed to a wanna be group. There’s pro’s to using both kinds and The Merc Series uses both.
Still not sure what this group’s background is but I’m thinking they’ll be more of a West Coast side of the country, Montana/Colorado type as opposed to Texas or Maine. There’s a distinction in my head on what that means. Whether that’s a real thing or not, oh well. ?
My initial idea is this is a fairly new group of guys, all retired military. They didn’t serve together and didn’t become contractors after their time in the military but met some other way. I’m thinking through a bar. Guys hang out a few nights a week drinking and watching the news on TV. None of them happy with what’s going on in the country.
Then one day someone they know of, another Veteran but not a drinking buddy, gets taken away by the government, his kids taken away by Child Services, and the IRS takes his property. This will need more research/details obviously but it becomes the trigger/catalyst for these guys to get together and form a likeminded group of families.
That was about two years ago and now they’ve recently become the target of a corrupt group of government officials and some corporation. Maybe they want the land they own, lil cliché but we’re just brainstorming here remember.
I think the group this group is strong enough and good enough to have even worked for Megan in the past.
Under one of her alias of course. ?
They help her with something and she helps them get things they normally couldn’t. Could be a few interesting stories here.
