I like the quietness of this photo. I’m thinking it could be the beginning of the Summer or the end of Summer. I’m leaning toward the end of Summer as it could be a good reflecting piece of everything that’s happened to the mercenary team Red Diamond.
It’s late in the evening, probably around 7ish. I’m thinking it’s in Maine, close to home, instead of in Massachusetts, close to the dojo. It’s a small little beach only locals know of. Very few tourists.
They could be walking or maybe having dinner and a small fire.
This is another story idea that would change depending on who I put in it.
One version could have Nick and the girls relaxing after a long day. It could also be just the girls getting back from Boston and decided to hit the beach before going home to The Walker Compound.
Another option could be Nick saying goodbye to Kat and Ino before they head back to Japan.
Regardless of who I decide to use, I think the theme of the short story is a quiet night after a long/hard day from a job probably. It’d be less a story on setting up future stuff and more on how Red Diamond unwinds/relaxes after a stressful day.
Now depending on what caused that stress/problem, that could be its own short story in of itself or maybe only touched upon in this story.
We’ll have to wait and see. ?
