This is Part 2 of a 2 Part idea. Part 1 was CP#75 and this one continues off of the idea that a bartender is secretly a serial killer and or an information broker who spends his time working at two different bars. One fancy and one normal.
The ladies in these pics are at the normal one.
I feel like there’s two ways to go with these pics. The first one is the women are throwaway characters/jobbers that are used to set up how dangerous the bartender is.
In that case the focus would be part on him and his methods before setting up a bigger scene/showdown later on in the story.
The other direction is these five women are the main event and become feature characters against the bartender.
I’m leaning towards the second direction.
So, the next question would be, is one lady more important than the others? Does one have main character energy, and the others are just her friends?
My working idea is that all five women work together at the same company and that the company is fairly big/important. They’re all celebrating a new big client/job that will push them up to the next level.
The bartender overhears all this, even lets a couple of them flirt with him. At which point he decides whatever they’re celebrating is worthy of his interest.
Through a combination of alcohol and drugs mixed into their drinks, he gets them wasted enough (2nd pic) to clone all their cell phones while they’ve all passed out momentarily.
Maybe he used a special cocktail. His signature one. As none of them even realize they blacked out, just that they got wasted more than they expected.
He then uses the information on their phones to locate them all and eliminate them one by one. All while making their deaths seem like accidents.
I’m still not sure if he’s doing this because he’s a serial killer or if he’s doing this as a job of sorts. Like a hitman maybe. That would affect the tone/vibe of the story too. I would probably stick with the serial killer version if I wanted it to feel different from my normal style of writing.
