This pic continues on our idea from CP#109, we’ve got a tropical island getaway. Vacation time.
I’m thinking this couple are both spies. One from the CIA and one from another agency. Leaning towards another American one. Maybe he’s Special Forces and she’s CIA or one of them is from a foreign government agency.
Nothing illegal happening though. Maybe they met on a joint task force sometime back and things happened. But because they’re spies from two different governments, they’re trying to hide it.
Maybe there’s some conference or event happening at the hotel on the island they’re staying at. Like with our character from CP#109, I don’t think the plot/story centers on them.
The attackers are there for a different reason and these guys are in the wrong place wrong time sort of thing.
They’re both well-trained though. They’re field operatives not paper pushers for whomever they end up working for. So, they fight back.
Maybe a boat rolls up on them right then and there on the beach and they take the men out.
The big questions to answer are, who’s attacking the island? It seems too big a task for just some random group of terrorists. Maybe anti-government forces? Or maybe the government is collapsing and there’s a military coup?
I like that idea but that brings it back to being a big task and big event. So, this would require a lot more planning and figuring out who the main characters for this story is.
Or I could do a complete 180 on this idea and maybe the couple are the bad guys.
Maybe they’re hired assassins. Maybe there’s a bunch of assassins all on the island to take on a job and eliminate the president of the island/country and the military is protecting him while he’s on vacation.
That could be a good idea too. Or use both but for different stories. Lots of potential.
