There were two things that caught my eye with this pic. The first thing was the obvious in that she’s a business woman. The second was the notebook and where my idea came from.
If you look closer at the notebook, you’ll see several different color tabs and it strikes me as a notebook that’s super organized and detailed, which tells me she’s a smart, savvy, meticulous, individual. I think she works for a company that does private audits/bookkeeping what not. Maybe each color tab is a different business.
I’m thinking she’s doing a job overseas, like a clothing maker in this one. She’s out in the back with racks of product everywhere and is just finishing up her notes after being given a tour.
She’s in Hong Kong, (picked because I can tie it into other characters and ideas from previous Creativity Posts) and everything seems fine.
The second picture is her again at the end of the day. Now it could be the end of her first day or the end of the week. I’m thinking end of her first day and she missed the train not getting the times right.
Or it could be her last day and someone made her late and she missed the train. I like that better.
Now she’s on the phone trying not to be annoyed since she’s tired and just wants to get back home. Maybe Hong Kong wasn’t her usual area and she has a bigger gig waiting once she gets back home.
So that’s our starting point. Now it’s deciding what kind of story we want to tell. Is she just an average business woman or is that her cover? Is her business legit or do they help criminal groups? Did she find/undercover something she shouldn’t have? Knowingly or unknowingly?
My initial idea is she gets kidnapped while waiting for the train and her company needs to hire mercenaries to find and rescue her. Who kidnapped her and why, is still up in the air.
