This pic helps capture an idea/vibe I have for a novella that I wrote a two page outline on already this past October. It’s along the lines of The Purge meets Halloween type story line.
This chick is a member of a group called The Rot. They’re a cult type group of anarchists with a Wyatt Family type vibe.
I first created them in my short story collection that I started writing two Summers ago. They’re spreading chaos around Boston during a heat wave.
For this pic, and novella idea, I’m thinking it happens after the Summer stuff.
The basic idea is an old army base in the middle of nowhere that has slowly been turned into a rich gated community and The Rot have attacked it on Halloween night.
The Rot target the rich and use firebombs/Molotov cocktails and vials of acid as weapons. They don’t look exactly like this chick but it helps give a general idea.
They targeted the community’s security force first then they started roaming the streets looking for the victims.
I’m thinking this chick targeted maybe the power station for the community or something with communications/wifi/internet maybe. Will need to work on this some still.
The only thing they didn’t plan for was the private bodyguards some of the rich families have on their payroll and some of them go on the offense to get their clients to safety.
Expect to hear more about this group in the future as unlike some of the ideas in these creativity posts, I’ve already written stories with these guys in them.
