This one sees a team of mercs in Syria.
They’ve been tasked with locating some VIP in the war-torn country. Could be a business man or a government official. Not sure yet.
I’m thinking the mercs are Russian too. Maybe they’re posing as Spetsnaz to stay low key.
Or maybe they really are Spetsnaz who are moonlighting as mercs on the side and doing a job off the books as a favor to someone.
There’s a bunch of different ways this idea/story could go depending on the pieces we plug into the various holes.
I might also see if I already have characters that could fill in this role instead of creating new guys from scratch so to speak.
Or have this mission be the intro to future Russian mercs.
Maybe they were Spetsnaz at the start but by the end of the job they are now rogue.
Lot of different options.
The overall plot would be navigating through the ruins/destruction trying to find the VIP while avoiding enemies.
Maybe there’s an American merc team operating in the area and looking for their target too and the Russians need to get to the VIP first without engaging the Americans.
Now just need to figure out who the VIP is and what makes he/she so special and worth the extraction.
